At the moment we’re looking for a new #bloqstar to support our Supply Chain operations as a Buyer. The Supply Chain department plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations across the entire company.

As a Buyer in the smart locker industry, your role will be crucial in assisting with the purchasing activities and ensuring the timely acquisition of materials, components, and equipment necessary for our production processes. You will collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to place orders and follow up on the due deliveries of needed quality and quantity of the specified materials.

What will be your responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives while ensuring compliance with purchasing budgets;

  • Help establish relationships with suppliers and partners to maintain a reliable supply chain;

  • Support the assessment of supplier performance and assist in implementing improvement strategies to enhance quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness;

  • Ensure that purchased materials and components meet quality standards and specifications;

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production and logistics, to ensure alignment with production schedules and project timelines;

  • Communicate with stakeholders to address their purchasing needs and concerns.

What are the requirements to join us in this position

  • Experience in a purchasing or procurement role (minimum 3 years);

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred;

  • Basic negotiation and contract management skills. - Strong organizational and analytical abilities;

  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken);

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment;

  • Experience with Excel and/or GoogleSheets;

  • Experience with Odoo is a plus.
