Job Description

What you will be doing

As a SEO Specialist, you will be instrumental in building and implementing our SEO strategies aimed at elevating and growing our online visibility. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product management, technology, marketing and editorial.

  • Identify, develop and implement SEO strategies and tactics

  • Regularly conduct in-depth website audits to identify and recommend actionable SEO opportunities, be it technical or content

  • Provide regular data-driven, insight-rich SEO performance reports, inclusive of optimisation and growth opportunities

  • Deliver and collaborate on all aspects of SEO, across both technical and content strategies and tactics, such as on-page optimisations (user experience, content, design), site speed / core web vitals, keyword research, content optimisations, link building, site / page authority, indexation tactics, data /schema structure

  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams – technology, product, data, marketing, content – to strategise, develop and implement SEO best practices, ultimately designed to achieve business objectives

  • Work in collaboration with the content team to build out and implement an SEO strategy across YouTube, auditing the current set up, and constantly improving and evolving our YouTube SEO to ensure it adheres to best practice

  • Work in collaboration with the App Strategist to optimise our searchability of our apps within the relevant app stores – apple and google

  • Stay across, and share among stakeholders the latest SEO trends, industry developments, algorithm changes, and adapt strategies where applicable.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously). 

  • Proven record of delivering end-to-end SEO projects that have been focused on driving direct business impact

  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to overlay commercial acumen and articulate SEO strategies to varying stakeholders with varying SEO knowledge

  • Advanced SEO technical capabilities – technical SEO is your bread and butter. Including, but not limited to: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, website architecture, crawling, indexing, site speed optimisations

  • Highly proficient with extensive experience in large scale analytical and SEO tools such as, but not limited to: GA4, Ahrefs, Search Console, BrightEdge, Botify and Similarweb

  • A highly collaborative, problem solver who can see the big picture and think strategically with experience in managing and growing an SEO team
