Position Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Search Engine Optimization Strategist and take the helm of SEO strategy across the entire suite of Colibri Group websites. In this pivotal role, you'll dive into assessing and optimizing websites, enhancing organic traffic through a blend of historical insights and industry best practices. As the SEO Strategist, you'll be at the forefront, guiding SEO partners in implementing cutting-edge tactics. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing, this is a key position where your expertise will shape our online presence and drive success. What You'll Do

• Formulate and implement effective SEO strategies to enhance online visibility and performance.

• Perform comprehensive keyword research to inform and guide content teams in creating targeted and impactful materials.

• Evaluate and address technical SEO issues, providing informed recommendations and effective solutions.

• Optimize website content, landing pages, and on-page copy to align with SEO best practices and user experience.

• Direct off-page optimization initiatives, including strategic link-building projects, to fortify online presence.

• Systematically collect and analyze data, preparing detailed reports on traffic, rankings, and various SEO metrics.

• Collaborate with marketing managers and paid search teams to optimize cross-functional campaigns for maximum impact.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in SEO and integrated marketing trends to ensure continuous innovation and competitiveness.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Possess a solid professional background with 4-6 years of experience in the field.

• A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• A proven track record as an SEO strategist, indicating a history of successfully driving impactful strategies.

• A comprehensive understanding of both standard and contemporary SEO practices.

• Proficiency in HTML/CSS, showcasing the ability to navigate and leverage these languages for SEO optimization.

• Display practical experience in SEO reporting, emphasizing the capacity to interpret and communicate insights effectively.

• Familiarity with industry-relevant tools such as Conductor, Ahrefs, Brightedge, Screaming Frog, MOZ, as well as proficiency in web analytics tools like Google Analytics.

• Excellent communication skills, with a particular emphasis on the development and presentation of insights via tools such as PowerPoint or Google Sheets.

• Showcase strong organizational and leadership skills, reflecting an ability to manage and lead within a dynamic work environment.

• A self-directed approach to work, highlighting the ability to work autonomously while fostering effective cross-functional collaboration.
