Privacy Community Manager (Part-Time Contract)

The Opportunity:

While our products support privacy teams in automating, expediting, and perfecting the mechanics of their daily work, our Contract Privacy Community Manager will advance our mission outside of the product by bridging connections between privacy leaders, facilitating events and digital spaces to grow new ideas, and lending their own expertise on privacy to our content.

This role will require a maximum 20 hour/week time commitment with flexibility regarding the days/times worked. 

The Opportunity

  • Summarize complex privacy regulation and news succinctly and effectively both conversationally and in written form

  • Facilitate engaging small group and large group discussions on the subject of data privacy

  • Utilize multiple communication channels to interface with community members, including Slack, email, LinkedIn, Zoom meetings, and in-person meetups

  • Develop and execute community programs that facilitate networking, enable customer advocacy, and ultimately expand DataGrail’s visibility in the wider privacy industry

Within 90 Days You'll:

  • Increase the number of active users in our slack community & overall rate of engagement by 20%

  • Host 1-3 webinars or small group virtual events per quarter

  • Proactively surface privacy news and exciting new perspectives within the privacy community

  • Collaborate closely within Marketing and across Product, Sales, and Customer Success to connect community members with advocacy opportunities, advance marketing leads if applicable, and flag product feedback

Within 180 Days You'll:

  • Identify & motivate a small group of highly engaged members who support and diversify virtual community activities

  • Integrate community events into the complete DataGrail customer lifecycle, optimizing them to grow awareness of DataGrail and create meaningful resources

  • Match community members to highly relevant engagement opportunities such as networking dinners and speaking opportunities to ensure 100% attendance at these events

  • Support individual community members working through career transitions with personal introductions and intentional career growth opportunities

 

Please note that the compensation range below is a guideline and final compensation will be based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies.

$50—$60 USD
