
Manager of Sales

Today, DBeaver is the leading provider of cross-platform enterprise data and database software, and we’re seeking a Manager of Sales to join our team. In this people management position reporting to the CEO, you’ll manage and grow our small, global sales team while also collaborating on our holistic sales strategy to generate new business, retain customers, and grow existing accounts.
Location: This role is remote in the United States, ideally based in Eastern or Central time zones to align with our global sales team (or open to early morning hours).
What You’ll Do:
Manage, grow, and motivate a sales team composed of account executives and sales engineers
Contribute to data-driven sales strategies that achieve net-new sales targets covering SMB, mid-market, and enterprise levels
Improve and build scalable and repeatable sales processes, playbooks, materials, etc., to ensure the sales team achieves their goals
Up-level the team’s ability to prospect for new customers, qualify leads, negotiate contracts, and close deals
Collaborate with other functions, such as Marketing and Sales Operations, to ensure a well-rounded, focused strategy
Stay current with competitors and guide related DBeaver's efforts
What You Bring:
We are looking for a team-centric leader with a proven track record of managing/leading account executives, and building data-driven, scalable, and repeatable sales strategies for B2B software products. You will play a large role as a member of DBeaver’s go-to-market leadership team.
Experience managing successful account executive teams in B2B software companies
Experience selling or building strategies to sell software products for technical users groups
You care about your team and ensure they have the support, coaching, tools, and strategies to meet their quotas
You understand the importance of sales strategy that covers the full sales cycle, from new customer acquisition (inbound and outbound) to customer retention and expansion
You are passionate about building and refining sales processes, strategies, and materials focused on scalability and repeatability
You base decisions on data but also embrace new ideas and strategies for innovation
Proven ability to engage others with new ideas
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people skills
Minimal travel as needed (for example, to trade shows, conferences, or company meetings)
Bonus Skills:
Experience managing teams or selling products related to open source software, databases, database management tools, or developer tools
Previous experience in working in an open source project
Experience with HubSpot CRM
