As our first dedicated Learning & People Experience Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping how employees learn, grow, and connect at Designity from day one and beyond. This is a highly hands-on, creative role, focused on building engaging and scalable learning programs while elevating the overall employee journey to drive performance, connection, and long-term engagement.

Your role:
Build and drive the end-to-end onboarding experience across departments, from designing structured, personalized journeys to executing and continuously improving how new hires are welcomed and ramped
Design and lead training programs from scratch, bringing them to life through interactive workshops, short-form video, and gamified learning
Develop and implement reinforcement mechanisms (certifications, quizzes) and creative learning touchpoints to ensure consistency and knowledge retention
Drive consistency across teams by standardizing how onboarding, training, and core processes are experienced across the company
Track and analyze the effectiveness of onboarding and training initiatives, using insights and feedback to continuously refine programs and improve outcomes
Serve as a go-to resource for employees and managers on onboarding and training-related topics
Act as a connector across teams, helping build a cohesive and engaging company culture where people feel aligned and supported, with a focus on strengthening culture and connection across a remote environment
Drive employee experience initiatives that improve engagement and satisfaction, using feedback, pulse check-ins, and insights to identify issues and implement meaningful improvements.
What you bring:
5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, People Operations, HR, or a related field
Hands-on experience building and running onboarding and training programs across departments in a scaling organization
Strong ability to break down complex topics into simple, structured, and engaging learning experiences
Practical understanding of adult learning principles and employee experience best practices
Experience creating interactive workshops, training sessions, and educational content that drives participation
A creative mindset with a strong instinct for making learning more engaging, fun, and effective
Clear, confident communication and the ability to lead sessions with energy and presence
Experience working with or implementing learning tools or LMS platforms
Strong execution skills with the ability to own projects with minimal guidance
Excellent organization and attention to detail
A collaborative, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset.
Nice to have:
Academic background in a related field (Psychology, HR, Education)
Experience teaching or creating educational content, such as leading university courses or building your own online programs.
As we partner closely with clients across the U.S., we ask for at least 5 hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (EST) to make collaboration easy and effective.
