As a Motion Designer at Designity, you’ll turn concepts into movement - building visually rich stories through animation, video, and motion systems. You’ll collaborate with top global creatives and marketers and use cutting-edge tools, including AI, to push ideas from concept to execution with speed and precision.

Your role:

• Design and produce high-impact motion graphics and videos for social media, digital campaigns, branding, and more

• Create end-to-end visuals, from layout and composition to final animation

• Edit and assemble video content, combining footage, sound, and motion to produce cohesive final outputs

• Develop storyboards and motion concepts, leveraging AI tools to accelerate ideation and visualization

• Apply animation principles and design fundamentals to ensure every frame feels intentional

• Adapt motion styles across industries, audiences, and brand identities while maintaining consistency and craft

• Collaborate closely with Creative Directors and fellow creatives, iterating with openness and intention

• Stay current with motion design trends, tools, and emerging techniques to level up your work continuously

• Use modern tools, including AI and After Effects plugins, to improve efficiency and elevate output.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in motion design, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing motion design, video, storytelling, and the use of AI in the creative process

• Expert-level design skills with strong proficiency in tools like After Effects (including different Plugins), Premiere Pro, and Adobe Creative Suite, along with Lottie and modern node-based AI tools

• Strong design fundamentals (typography, layout, composition) combined with expert knowledge of motion principles, pacing, composition, and visual storytelling

• Ability to translate strategy and creative direction into compelling motion content

• Experience with storyboarding and concept development

• Solid verbal and written English communication skills

• A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to refine, ask smart questions, and deliver consistently

• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management

• A collaborative, feedback-driven approach with a strong growth mindset.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with customizing or scripting After Effects plugins

• Basic 3D motion experience.

As we partner closely with clients across the U.S., we ask for at least 5 hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern Time (EST) to make collaboration easy and effective.
