Marketing Art Director (Remote)

About This Role

As the Art Director, the contractor serves as a key creative contributor, supporting the development and application of Design Pickle’s brand identity within the internal marketing agency.

The contractor partners with Design Pickle as a brand and collaborates with the marketing team to maintain alignment between creative outputs, brand standards, and strategic direction. The engagement focuses on contributing creative expertise and design execution that reflects the Internal Agency’s visual standards and creative benchmarks.

This service requires a strong understanding of branding and design principles, along with the ability to adapt brand guidelines across multiple platforms and audiences.

Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST/PST
Location: Remote, open to candidates in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, or India

Specific Scope of Services

  • Collaboration: Work with Account Executives, Channel Sales, Sales Management, and Revenue Operations to align on priorities and creative objectives

  • Creative Partnership: Partner with Design Pickle’s Internal Agency to clarify expectations and deliver high-quality outputs aligned with brand standards

  • Design Development: Collaborate on the creation and refinement of visually engaging content for social media, websites, and digital channels

  • Graphic Production: Refine and produce high-quality visual assets that support brand messaging and creative strategy

  • Asset Coordination: Organize and maintain creative assets for efficient workflows and accessibility

  • Professional Growth: Stay informed of evolving design tools, techniques, and trends to continuously enhance creative quality and output

Requirements

  • Up-to-date portfolio demonstrating comprehensive branding experience (ideation, logo design, implementation across formats)

  • Strong conceptual, graphic design, typography, and layout skills for print, interactive, and broadcast projects

  • Exceptional eye for detail and deep understanding of branding technicalities

  • Excellent English communication skills, with ability to articulate brand guidelines and rationale clearly

  • Practical experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Acrobat)

  • Working knowledge of Canva, Figma, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Google Slides

  • Experience in web design, marketing campaigns, email, newsletters, and conversion-focused design

  • Proven experience leading or mentoring creatives while maintaining hands-on execution responsibilities

  • Ability to analyze and interpret evolving project requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule

  • Sound judgment, adaptability, and forward-thinking creative problem-solving skills
