Bookkeeping Team Lead

Looking for a remote role without set working hours where you will be challenged and rewarded based on your outputs?

> What we are looking for

We are DialedIn Bookkeeping, a bookkeeping company specializing in bookkeeping and job costing for home services and construction contractors.

Because of our growth ( We have doubled every year and are currently on track to do that again), we are in need of a Bookkeeping Team Lead.

The Bookkeeping Team Lead has a few main outputs that they are responsible for, which are below

- Manage a team of 2-3 Account Managers and their performance handling 40-60 clients

- Answer questions from clients and Account Managers around process and best practices

- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and Account Manager

- Handle 2-4 bookkeeping clients of your own as we continue to onboard and queue new clients

- Learn and then teach the skills necessary to work with all the software and processes we have implemented

> How we work / Compensation / Time Requirements

You are not required to be at your workstation for a set number of hours. Tasks are due on a specific date and your job is to get them done on that day. Some days are longer, some days are shorter. As a Team Lead, you also will have projects that are not routine that you must figure out. Again, just get them done as efficiently as you can.

Compensation is a combination of a base salary plus a percentage of revenue that you oversee.

The role is completely remote. Most clients are based in the USA.

>What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow their career, loves the challenge of new things, and is always curious to learn more.

Experience doing cleanups in quickbooks online is preferred.

Experience / education as a CPA or any local tax certification resembling US GAAP standards is preferred.

High quality written and verbal English is also preferred.

A history of having worked in a remote environment is a plus.

An ability to problem solve with unknown variables and to fix problems and move a team forward is a plus.

Experience managing the workload of a team is a plus.

You will work directly with the colleague you are replacing as well as the founder to onboard in to this role.
