Senior Product Manager (Growth)

We expect candidates to be data-driven and experienced in executing growth strategies through A/B testing, user acquisition, and retention. Must understand the product development lifecycle, collaborate across functions, and possess a growth mindset with strong analytical and technical skills. Effective communication, leadership, and a customer-centric approach are essential to drive product improvements and achieve rapid growth. You will guide a few product strategies, define the team’s roadmap, and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement product initiatives, from conception to execution.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading the Growth Engineering team to design and implement growth strategies that align with DigitalOcean’s objectives.

  • Conducting extensive data analysis to identify growth opportunities and monitor the effectiveness of growth initiatives.

  • Overseeing the development and execution of A/B tests and other experiments to optimize product features and user journeys.

  • Collaborating with marketing, sales, engineering, and design teams to ensure cohesive growth efforts and consistent user experience.

  • Prioritizing product enhancements and feature developments that drive user growth and retention.

  • Regularly presenting growth performance and insights to senior management, informing strategic decisions.

What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean:

  • 5+ years of minimum experience in product management, with a proven track record in leading growth-focused teams.

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with experience in metrics-driven decision making and A/B testing.

  • Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience in agile methodologies.

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams across the organization.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance short-term gains with long-term vision.

  • Technical acumen to effectively communicate with engineering teams and understand the product’s technical challenges.

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for improving user experience and satisfaction.

The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance.
