About this Role
Fandom is growing! Our Data Engineer II opportunity is based in Poland, and reports to our Senior Manager of Data Engineering.
Are you an experienced AWS engineer who is ready to focus on and expand the knowledge around Big Data?
Would you love to be in charge of maintaining the data warehouse for a top media website in the entertainment world with hundreds of millions of users, billions of page views and hundreds of billions of events?
As a member of our Data Engineering team, you will support, enhance, and maintain our current Data Warehouse and ETL infrastructure.

You Will...
Work on challenging team projects to improve our data infrastructure
Collaborate with our experienced data engineering team on the development and maintenance of our data flows
Participate in the definition of our projects
Support the data science team with productization of machine learning models
You Have...
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting the AWS stack (e.g. EMR, IAM, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, Athena, Redshift, EC2)
Skills managing the Hadoop infrastructure
Knowledge in BigData processing technologies (Spark, Hive, Flink, Hue)
Knowledge in containerisation technologies (Docker)
Experience with Infrastructure as a code solutions (Terraform)
Ability to code in one of modern programming languages
Bonus Points...
Experienced with Python/Java
Familiar with AirFlow
Experienced in K8S solutions
