Technical Writer

About You:

Fingerprint is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to join our Developer Experience team. Our team is focused on creating public-facing resources for Fingerprint developer community. Primarily, our audience includes all levels of developers and security professionals. As a senior technical writer, you’ll not only be responsible for writing our technical documentation, you'll also be responsible for our documentation and read.mes for our open-source projects together with tutorials and guidelines for the technical audience.

Location: remote, anywhere in UTC-8 to UTC+4

Responsibilities:

  • Write concise, easy-to-understand documentation, tutorials, and guides that simplify complex technical concepts into content consumable content

  • Own, create, and maintain documentation and readme pages for our open-source projects

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Team, and Support Engineers to scope and define documentation projects

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven track record of documenting GitHub repositories, frameworks, or developer tools

  • Proven understanding of modern software development concepts - JavaScript ecosystem mainly; the closer your experience level is to being a software developer, the better

  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly, as well as understand why they’re important to our users

  • Excellent English and Writing

In addition to your resume, please submit 2 pieces of previous technical documentation you have written.
