As our news Editor, you’ll be playing a vital role in the team contributing to the most influential input to the company’s revenue (SEO & Content). Naturally, this is an area we want to support as much as possible, and this role is a superb opportunity for someone to be instrumental as we scale up our processes and strategy on one of our lead projects.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and developing news articles and strategies

• Researching and planning news topics

• Managing writers for articles, news briefs, and analysis pieces on various aspects of the crypto industry

• Managing and editing content from writers or contributors (PRs)

• Collaborating with other members of the content team to ensure a steady flow of content

• Ensuring the accuracy and credibility of news stories

• Helping to develop and maintain the publication's editorial voice and style

• Keeping up to date with current events and trends in the field

• Keeping an eye on crypto price, market trends and crypto/gambling regulations

• Designing content plans for written and video media

• Aligning news strategy with social media strategy and creating content for other outlets

• Outreach and monitoring of performance for all external, news-related marketing activities

• Writing and providing analysis and data for news articles and news-related marketing activities

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in content editing or a similar role within the crypto/gambling industry

• Fluency in Dutch and English, with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills

• Experience in journalism, writing, or a related field

• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills

• The ability to write in a clear and concise manner for a general audience

• The ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts in layman's terms

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• A keen interest in staying up-to-date with the latest news and developments in the crypto industry

• Strong management and organizational skills to help manage content and other team members

• A good understanding of SEO, and how to write for the web

• Strong attention to detail to ensure that all content is accurate and error-free
