Senior Product Manager, Community & Growth (Flickr)
The Role
At Flickr, we are in an exciting phase of growth. The opportunity in front of this role is getting more photographers to that moment faster—the moment they find their people, post their first photo, join their first group, and realize this is where they belong. That moment is what this role is built around.
If you thrive in ambiguity, love building products that bring people together, and want to own the funnel that turns photographers into long-term Pro subscribers, this is your opportunity.
Your Opportunity
Own the Get team roadmap end to end, set the strategic priorities, track progress against subscription growth goals, and communicate results and learnings to leadership on a regular cadence.
Build and evolve the community and growth strategy, bringing a clear point of view on where the biggest opportunities are and making the case for how to go after them.
Define the strategic opportunity, set the direction, and drive alignment from the first brief to the final launch.
Drive the full acquisition and onboarding funnel from signup through community activation and first-month engagement, with direct accountability for moving the metrics that matter.
Design and run a rigorous experimentation program across the funnel, write your own briefs, synthesize learnings, and compound results over time.
Own legal and compliance requirements across login, signup, and onboarding, partnering with Legal and Trust & Safety.
Partner with the platform team to ensure the app is a best-in-class acquisition and activation surface.
Work closely with marketing on acquisition strategy and campaigns as the product voice for how new users are introduced to Flickr.
Partner with the other product teams on roadmap planning, make hard tradeoff calls that balance Get priorities against broader business outcomes, and build alignment even when priorities compete.
What You Bring
6+ years of product management experience with a track record of owning and shipping significant growth or community products at a senior level.
A strategic leader who can set the vision and execute it. You define the roadmap, influence across the organization, and drive outcomes with or without a large team behind you.
Deeply data-informed and comfortable getting into the numbers yourself, translating what you find into strategic decisions not just observations. SQL skills are a strong plus.
Design fluency. You value high UX quality, can give clear and actionable direction to designers, and use prototyping and early visuals to align teams before committing to build.
You raise the bar on PM craft around you. You write clear specs, run tight roadmap reviews, and set a standard for how product work gets done that makes everyone on the team better.
A strong track record with acquisition and growth metrics: onboarding completion, signup conversion, funnel optimization, and LTV.
Proven experimentation chops. You know how to design a rigorous test, read results honestly, separate signal from noise, and build a compounding program that gets smarter over time.
Experience with community, social, or subscription products where engagement and conversion were central to growth.
Comfortable in a fast-moving, resource-constrained environment. You have worked in a startup or agile setting where priorities shift, teams are lean, and the ability to move quickly without losing quality is what separates good from great.
Builds and owns the business case for your bets, connecting product decisions directly to subscription revenue and growth outcomes.
Influences without authority. You move engineering, marketing, community, and support toward a shared goal through clarity, trust, and the strength of your thinking, not through hierarchy.
Resourceful and decisive with a builder mindset. You make high-quality decisions with incomplete information, translate vision into execution, iterate based on results, and treat being wrong as useful information not failure.
A growth mindset and a genuine commitment to the people around you, championing our culture of collaboration and development and our #GROWTOGETHER values.
