Operations Specialist

We made a money+ app that gives everyone high-end rewards on every payment. Fluz aims to disrupt the payment experience by making it more social. Positioned at the intersection of social media, payments, and rewards, we are a fast-moving FinTech company experiencing significant growth. We sponsor H1B work visas.

We are looking for an Operations Specialist who will ensure smooth money movement and provide exceptional customer service.

What you will do

• File and manage chargebacks, disputes, and collections, ensuring timely resolution while monitoring and supporting transactions for accuracy and security

• Assist customers and business accounts with chargebacks and account inquiries through emails, ACH returns, outbound calls, and tools like Riskify

• Troubleshoot discrepancies, escalate technical issues to internal teams, and contribute to creating seamless user experiences

• Maintain accurate records of interactions and resolutions, leveraging spreadsheet tools to analyze and improve processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field

• Proficient in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effectively engaging with users

• Critical problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Flexible availability, including the ability to work night shifts and weekends as required

• Nice-to-haves: experience in customer service or financial operations and familiarity with banking operations or financial systems

Our Tech Stack

Our mobile application is built with React Native and Apollo on the frontend. The app’s backend is built with Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis, deployed on GCP through CI and Docker Images.
