The Role

The Digital Marketing Analyst will be responsible for optimizing our marketing efforts by analyzing data and extracting actionable insights. The Digital Marketing Analyst will report to the VP of Digital Marketing and work closely with the paid advertising team to measure campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and help optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, experience with data analysis, and is highly proficient in tools such as Excel. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze advertising data to extract insights and identify areas for improvement.

  • Develop and implement data-driven recommendations to improve campaign performance.

  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize advertising campaigns.

  • Collaborate with the VP of Digital Marketing to create dashboards and reports that track key metrics.

  • Build and maintain a deep understanding of our advertising performance across multiple channels and platforms and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Conduct analyses and prepare reports that communicate insights, findings, and recommendations to key stakeholders across the organization.

  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in our advertising data sources, including data from our advertising platforms and other sources, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance our data quality and completeness.

  • Continuously monitor advertising performance, proactively identify emerging trends and issues, and develop strategies to address them.

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data analysis and advertising.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science).

  • 1+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.

  • Strong proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics and Excel.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and compelling way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • A passion for analytics and a desire to stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in data analysis and advertising.

  • Well-organized, methodical thinker who can handle competing priorities and make decisions under pressure while delivering accurate, on-time, high-quality work.

  • Detail-oriented, driven, and organized high performer with an insatiable desire to win.
