At our core we’re a technology company, and our first instinct is to automate. Our accounts receivable and accounts payable are largely automated already, so this isn’t a data-entry job.

You’ll own the finance function end to end, the day-to-day and the strategy, and you’ll have real influence over how the business runs.

You’ll lead accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, cargo and insurance claims, and management reporting. Just as importantly, you’ll improve the systems and processes behind them and give leadership the numbers they need to make decisions.

✨ What you’ll actually do

• 📊 Own financial reporting, management reports and the numbers leadership relies on

• 📥 Lead accounts receivable, customer setup and invoice changes

• 📤 Lead accounts payable, carrier accounts, freight bill auditing and corrections

• 📚 Own the books, bookkeeping and month-end

• 📦 Oversee cargo claims and insurance, on behalf of customers

• ⚙️ Improve the systems and processes behind all of it, with engineering when needed

🎯 What we’re looking for

• 🎓 An accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent) or strong equivalent experience

• 🧭 Experience owning or managing a finance/accounting function

• 💼 Experience with Xero and financial reporting

• 🚛 Ideally knowledge of the freight or logistics industry

• ✍️ Excellent written and verbal English

• 🧩 Strong problem-solving and confidence in challenging situations

• ❤️ High emotional intelligence, genuine curiosity about people, and a desire to help

• ⏱️ Sharp time management and comfort with modern software
