Senior Program Manager

Location: Remote, Colombia

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-events or offsites. Your hiring manager can share more about this role’s hybrid or remote time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

What you'll get to do...

• Work with the Data Engineering, Applications, Analytics, BA teams, and Platform Engineering to ensure the DevOps & Ops/SRE teams are delivering on agreed timelines and with agreed quality

• Directly lead the implementation team for rolling out mission-critical software through the DNA org within GoDaddy

• Help define engineering and org-level performance/reliability/availability metrics like MTTRA, SLA, SLI, and SLO for various application types

• Help leads a culture of continual improvements by bringing in core insights from various performance/reliability/availability dashboards and sharing with the larger org

• Manage programs to develop and deliver tooling and automation solutions for faster customer issue resolution

• Work with external vendors for various enterprise software to manage open issues

• Ensure an org-level adoption and use of agreed incident, alarms, support

• Analyse issue data and provide operational insights to product management and engineering to use lessons learned in improving the supportability of future releases

Your experience should include...

• 8+years working within an operational program management/technical program management focusing on deployments

• You should have a strong understanding of DevOps culture

• Experience helping to define operational processes and standards to maintain a production environment

• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills. A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues to multiple organisational levels

• Experience working in Agile Scrum software development environments

• Positive can-do attitude, a strong sense of ownership, and dealing with ambiguity

• Personal characteristics include a natural intellectual curiosity. You thrive in a fast-paced, focus on outcomes & drive for results

• Experience with data at scale, platforms, and AWS ecosystem will be preferred

• Knowledge of Incident management tools like ServiceNow, BigPanda is a big plus

• Ability to craft basic SQL queries to get reports through Tableau

• Have a strong data-driven decision-making approach

• You should have to lead operational/technical leadership of at least one project that is in production
