Senior Copywriter

We are looking for a Senior Copywriter with extensive experience in the sports betting/online gambling industry. In this role, you will play a crucial part in crafting engaging and informative content that resonates with our audience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and gaming, a deep understanding of betting and casino markets, and a proven ability to produce high-quality written material.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 7+ years of experience as a writer or content creator, preferably in the sports betting industry.

• Fluent in Romanian and English, bonus if also can speak Brazilian Portuguese, French, Dutch, Polish or Serbian.

• In-depth knowledge of various sports and familiarity with betting terminology, odds, and betting markets.

• Exceptional writing skills with a knack for storytelling and the ability to captivate audiences through written content.

• Proficiency in SEO principles and content optimization techniques.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent editing skills, with a commitment to producing error-free, polished content.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects and deadlines with ease.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform content decisions.

• Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work closely with cross-functional teams.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collaborate with product designers, UX researchers, and marketing teams to develop user-centered copy that enhances the overall experience across our online platforms.

• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas, refine content plans, and ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms.

• Develop and execute content strategies tailored to the sports betting niche, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Write compelling and persuasive content for various digital interfaces, including website pages, app interfaces, email campaigns, and promotional materials.

• Conduct user research and testing to understand user needs and preferences, ensuring that your copy aligns with the insights gathered.

• Simplify complex concepts related to sports betting and online casino gaming, making them easily understandable for users of all experience levels.

• Maintain brand voice and tone consistency across all copy, adapting it as necessary for different initiatives and target audiences.

• Monitor and analyze user engagement metrics to continually refine and optimize copy for better performance.

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in both the sports betting and online casino markets.

• Optimize content for SEO, incorporating relevant keywords and best practices to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.

• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry regulations related to sports betting, ensuring compliance in all content produced.

• Own your professional growth and help other team members by providing feedback and mentorship
