Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence

Reports To: VP of Revenue Operations

Schedule: 12pm - 9pm IST

Who You Are:

As the Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence, you will report into the VP of Revenue Operations and be responsible for leading and managing a team of Tableau developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data visualization, and team leadership. They will work closely with stakeholders across the organization and Senior Leaders to understand business requirements, develop actionable insights, and drive data-driven decision-making. 

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and manage a team of Manager and Tableau developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of business intelligence solutions and strategic alignment. 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations and analytical solutions using Tableau. You will also be effectively communicating insights, recommendations and strategies with the senior leadership team and stakeholders. 

  • Drive the development and implementation of best practices, standards, and processes for data visualization and business intelligence within the organization. 

  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of Tableau dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions to support business needs. 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of BI solutions with other data initiatives. 

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data visualization, business intelligence, and Tableau development, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement. 

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the Business Intelligence team, including resource planning, performance management, and professional development. 

  • Collaborate with IT and data governance teams to ensure compliance with data security and governance policies and standards. 

What You Bring:

  • Proficient English speaker 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information

  • Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 

  • 8+ years of experience in data management, analytics, and strategy, with a proven track record of leadership and achievement in a similar role. 

  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of Tableau developers, including hiring, coaching, and performance management. 

  • Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and other Tableau products, with a deep understanding of data visualization best practices. 

  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, SQL, and data modeling principles. 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights. 

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus. 

  • Tableau certification(s) preferred. 

  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. 

  • Bias toward action
