I am looking for an experienced Plumbing Estimator

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience preparing accurate estimates, reviewing job details, and calculating project costs. You will work closely with the team to ensure estimates are completed promptly and project documentation is organized and up to date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate plumbing estimates using photos, measurements, and notes provided by field technicians.

• Review job details and prepare estimates for service and new-construction projects.

• Assist with HVAC estimates and related technical calculations.

• Follow up on outstanding estimates to help ensure timely completion.

• Perform job costing and review project expenses.

• Manage heat pump and mini-split rebate documentation and submissions.

• Collect and organize required rebate documents, including equipment photos, model and serial numbers, installation photos, and invoice numbers.

• Maintain accurate job records, estimates, and invoices using Housecall Pro.

• Review existing records to identify missing estimates, invoices, and incomplete job tracking.

• Organize project documents, supplier estimates, technical calculations, and correspondence in Basecamp.

• Maintain complete and organized documentation for ongoing projects.

Requirements

• Previous plumbing estimating experience is required.

• Experience preparing estimates using field-collected information, such as photos, measurements, and job notes.

• Familiarity with Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, or similar field-service software.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to estimating accuracy.

• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

• Ability to review technical information and prepare estimates without personally visiting job sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC estimating in addition to plumbing.

• Knowledge of Manual J calculations and heat loss studies.

• Experience with job costing and construction documentation.

• Familiarity with Basecamp or similar project management tools.

• Experience managing heat pump or mini-split rebate applications.
