Head of Influencer Marketing

About InBeat

InBeat is a rapidly growing influencer marketing agency partnering with some of the world’s most ambitious brands, including Shark Ninja, Miro, Descript, and Nielsen. We run high-volume influencer campaigns, blending data-driven strategy with a deep understanding of culture and creativity. As we scale, we’re building a dedicated Influencer Marketing department designed to lead the industry in both strategic thinking and executional excellence.

The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Influencer Marketing to build, scale, and lead our Influencer Marketing function. This is a department head role, reporting into the executive team, with responsibility for both strategy and operations across 20+ growing client accounts (scaling to 30+ in the next six months).

You’ll be leading:

  • A team of Influencer Strategists (owning campaign strategy across accounts).

  • A Lead Influencer Coordination Manager & a team of Coordinators (who in turn oversees Influencer Managers and Coordinators running the day-to-day campaigns).

This means you’ll own the entire department, directly managing senior strategists and building leadership layers under you. You’ll be responsible for scaling both the team structure and the client portfolio, while ensuring we deliver world class influencer campaigns at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Department Leadership: Build and lead the Influencer Marketing department, managing Strategists directly and guiding the Manager of Influencer Managers/Coordinators.

  • Team Development: Establish management structures, career paths, and training programs that allow the team to grow sustainably and deliver at a high level.

  • Client Leadership: Oversee strategy for 20+ influencer accounts (scaling to 30+), including large accounts running $1M+ in annual influencer spend.

  • Strategic Direction: Set the vision and standards for influencer strategy, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends and deliver innovative campaigns.

  • Operational Excellence: Build scalable systems and processes for handling 500–600+ influencer engagements per month across accounts.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, performance, and client service teams to integrate influencer marketing into broader campaign strategies.

  • Executive Reporting: Provide visibility to leadership on team performance, client outcomes, and growth plans.

What Success Looks Like

  • A high-functioning influencer department with clear management structures and strong leadership layers.

  • Smooth execution of 500–600 monthly influencer activations with consistent quality.

  • Strategic excellence across all accounts, with client satisfaction and retention at the highest levels.

  • A team that is growing sustainably, with defined roles, clear accountability, and strong morale.

  • Recognition of InBeat as a leader in influencer strategy and execution.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in influencer marketing, with at least 3+ years leading large influencer teams.

  • Proven experience managing both strategists and campaign execution teams (managers and coordinators).

  • Strong understanding of influencer strategy, negotiation, and performance metrics.

  • Experience scaling influencer operations to hundreds of monthly engagements.

  • Ability to build systems, management structures, and processes in a fast-growth environment.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of influencer platforms, trends, and cultural shifts.

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and manage a globally distributed team.

  • Agency experience with large brand accounts is a major plus.

Why Join InBeat

  • Lead the entire Influencer Marketing department at one of the fastest-growing agencies in the space.

  • Work on accounts with millions in annual influencer spend for world-class brands.

  • Join a high-performance team where taste, creativity, and strategy are non-negotiable.

  • Play a pivotal role in building the structures and systems that define the future of influencer marketing.

  • Fully remote role with a globally distributed team.
