Your Responsibilities
Partner with product managers and developers to understand system requirements and functionalities.
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases covering all user scenarios.
Implement and leverage automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes.
Conduct performance testing to identify and address potential bottlenecks.
Analyze test results, identify and report defects, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Champion best practices in quality assurance, leverage AI and new technologies, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback from a quality perspective.
Proactively identify risks and potential issues early in the development lifecycle.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient development process.
Your Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a proven track record of success.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile preferred).
Strong experience with designing and executing test plans, test cases, and various testing methodologies (functional, non-functional, usability, etc.).
Experience with automation frameworks and libraries (e.g., Selenium, Jest, Cypress, Supertest, k6) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Sauce Labs,, LambdaTest).
Experience as a full stack developer coding in a Node, Express, React, Postgres tech stack
A strong blend of technical skills, domain knowledge, a passion for quality, and commitment to continuous improvement
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment is a plus.
Experience with a self-service BI platform is a plus.
