Backend Engineer (Python + LLMs)

We're looking for a Backend Engineer with hands-on experience in Python to build an MVP for a conversational AI interface that empowers system administrators to diagnose and manage complex IT environments through a ChatGPT-like experience. This is a unique opportunity to build something from the ground up. You will connect CMDBs, log files, and telemetry data into a unified conversational layer for IT Operations.

What you will do:

• Build APIs and data pipelines to ingest and structure data from CMDBs, logging systems, and Windows/Linux telemetry.

• Develop the backend logic in Python, integrating LLM/SLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace, etc.) using tools like LangChain and RAG.

• Write unit and integration tests, iterate with stakeholders to ensure reliability and value to real-world IT Ops workflows.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering

• Experience building or integrating AI chatbots or LLM-powered apps

• Hands-on experience with LangChain, RAG, or similar technologies.

• Strong skills in Python, REST APIs, and data integration

• Familiarity with vector databases, relational databases, logging systems, and multi-OS environments (Windows/Unix/Linux)

• Strong English communication skills - Minimum B2 level proficiency
