Director of Growth Marketing

Let's dive right in — Jane is a company dedicated to growth, innovation, and delight in the healthcare sector. We're on the hunt for proactive individuals ready to join us in our mission to simplify the lives of healthcare professionals every single day. The best part? Jane is a fully remote company, meaning you can work from anywhere in Canada.

We're led by our founders, staying true to our core values while keeping our eyes on the horizon. Our product is a game-changer for professionals like chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists and mental health practitioners. It enables them to digitally streamline their practices with features like online booking, medical charting, scheduling, telehealth, and billing. Curious? Check out more features here.

Jane offers autonomy and flexibility to balance work and life. Need to block out time to pick up the kids? Go for it. That's normal here. And yes, we have a Slack channel for parents, but we've also got channels dedicated to plants, furry friends, food, pride, wellness - you get the idea! While we love to connect virtually, the Jane team also connects in person throughout the year. That comes in the form of departmental get-togethers, company retreats, or possibly a conference or two across North America if you’re keen to learn more about our community of healthcare providers. At Jane, we're all about growth, delight, and serving our healthcare community -- and we're on the search for folks who are ready to dive in and become part of our journey toward making healthcare professionals' lives easier.

For over a decade, Jane has thrived on the power of word-of-mouth referrals resulting from our delightful product and customer experience. Now, as we embark on our next chapter of growth, we're seeking a dynamic senior leader to unite and spearhead our Performance Marketing (SEM/Paid) and Organic/SEO programs. If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact in the health & wellness industry and love a customer-first company, we invite you to join our mission-driven team. Let's tackle real customer challenges together and redefine how customer acquisition and growth can happen through these channels at Jane. We want our future customers to find Jane, consider Jane, and love Jane. If this sounds like your calling, read on!

About the team and you

At Jane, our Marketing department is more than just a team; we're a dynamic, creative, and collaborative community of passionate marketers, designers, and developers. Together, we're committed to driving growth with a continuous improvement mindset. Our mission is simple: design programs that delight and support our customers, fostering lasting relationships along the way.

In our culture of learning, collaboration, and experimentation, we all share a genuine love for Jane. We value curiosity, problem-solving skills, and an eagerness to learn. We work hard, but we also know how to have fun together. You will be part of the Marketing Leadership team, establishing close-knit relationships with the other four leaders in the department and collaborate closely to contribute to the overall marketing strategy and cross-team initiatives. Today, our Marketing department stands at the forefront of opening new channels, new markets and delivering high-impact results. We want to become indispensable to our customers and Jane's continued growth and success.

As an experienced Director of Growth Marketing at Jane, you'll have the opportunity to unite our Organic/SEO and Performance Marketing (Paid/SEM) strategy and programs, shaping them into a cornerstone of our Marketing department. Leading a talented team, you'll expand our acquisition strategies and channels, driving significant growth for Jane. Drawing on your expertise in Performance Marketing, SEO, Content, and Website optimization, you'll champion initiatives that elevate customer awareness, acquisition, and engagement to new heights.

Compensation Expectations for the Role

Jane’s committed to paying our team members fairly, clearly, and above all, paying for growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $166,300 and a maximum annual salary of $270,000. As you may have noticed, this salary range is quite large, and this is intentional to account for the growth someone will experience in the role throughout their time at Jane (i.e., from building the skills, to accomplished, to highly proficient, all the way to achieving excellence in the role). When hiring talented folks to join the Jane team, we’ve found that new team members are best set up for success when hired with the expectation of being fully accomplished in the role, which for this role would reflect a salary between $197,500 to $207,800. It's also possible to join Jane at a salary above or below this, which would mean a salary below $197,500 which typically reflects someone who has all the potential to be fully accomplished in the role but doesn't yet possess all the skills required, while a salary above $207,800 is typically for individuals who are currently in this role at Jane and had the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on our customers, product and company with deep Jane knowledge. At Jane, we pay for growth, which means that you’ll continue to have conversations about your career development with your manager and see your compensation grow over time as you build an amazing career with us.
