SEM Manager

About the Job

As the SEM Manager, you will own paid search across Google and Bing to hit monthly budget and ROAS goals. This requires the setup, optimization, and analysis of multiple campaigns daily following a direct response marketing approach.

What You'll Do

  • Develop a strategy for paid search to grow Life360 memberships and execute tactically.

  • Hit monthly spend and ROAS goals in line with monthly targets and OKRs.

  • Create, manage, and optimize brand, non-brand, and conquest campaigns.

  • Ideate and test new keywords, ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, and seek out new ways to improve efficiency. We love testing to see what works and what doesn’t.

  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly reports for tracking and analyzing performance.

  • Manage and execute testing roadmap.

  • Work closely with in-house creative teams to design new landing pages and ads. 

  • Manage and scale continually growing monthly budgets.

  • Share insights with the UA team and throughout the organization, and foster a collaborative learning environment.

  • Troubleshoot issues and changes in performance.

  • Work cross-functionally with analytics, creative, product, and marketing.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years directly managing paid search campaigns

  • Google Ads certification

  • Subject matter authority in all aspects of paid search including: content, keyword research, account and campaign structure, bid strategies, incrementality measurement, attribution and tracking.

  • Exceptional analytical skills (Sheets/Excel is a must) and a data-driven approach. 

  • Experience with Google Analytics and Tableau (or similar BI tools).

  • The ability to manage several projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • The ability to collaborate and work as a team in order to achieve company objectives.

  • A passion for problem-solving and improving overall performance. 

  • Great attention to detail and is comfortable living “in the weeds” day-to-day in order to hit goals.
