What would I do at Litmus?

We’re looking to bring on a well-rounded Marketing Design and UX Manager to elevate Litmus’ website and branding, all while keeping the customer journey in mind. You are someone who is excited about creating holistic campaigns across multiple different media types, brand style guides, championing brand consistency, and driving visuals for a variety of content.

In this role, you’ll serve as the design lead on the Brand and Content team and own the UX and design across the customer journey across key marketing channels: Litmus.com, marketing collateral (digital and print), email, and digital ads.

In this role you will:

  • Work collaboratively on projects to craft innovative designs that are both visually appealing and aligned with our marketing goals across various channels.

  • Partner with the Growth Marketing Team to explore opportunities for testing and learning, aiming to enhance the user experience (UX) on our website.

  • Ensure that Litmus maintains a cohesive visual identity across all channels, providing a seamless experience for our audience.

  • Bring your ideas to life by conceptualizing and creating wireframes and mockups, championing your work through implementation.

  • Transform written content and briefs into visually engaging designs, prioritizing user experience and accessibility.

  • Collaborate closely with the Website Manager to ensure that designs are effectively translated into high-performing website pages as well as optimized for mobile..

  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of comprehensive brand guidelines that support our marketing efforts.

  • Stay updated on the latest UX and design trends, sharing insights with the team to keep Litmus ahead of the curve.

 

What is Litmus looking for in a candidate?

  • Solid experience in website design with a portfolio that shows off high-level skills in UX, design principles, accessibility, and visual storytelling; strong plus for backgrounds in B2B SaaS

  • Ability to think strategically, prioritize tasks, troubleshoot issues, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator; wireframing and prototyping experience is required

  • Hands-on knowledge in animation software like After Effects, Fable, or Lottie

  • Experience with HTML and CSS, with the ability to create animated assets like GIFs or PNGs for email and web use.

  • Nice to have:

    • Knowledge of the unique considerations for email design compared to web design, including understanding email rendering across different clients and devices
