At Medusa, we are rethinking the way of building modern ecommerce solutions by building a direct open-source alternative to Shopify making it easier to build fully custom and best-in-class webshops. The solution is marketed towards developers and has a unique market position due to its flexibility and extendibility.

To support our future growth, we seek a Business Analyst who is eager to work at the intersection between technology and business in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

Throughout your work, you will work closely with our co-founder and COO, Nicklas, who has years of experience as a consultant from McKinsey and QVARTZ/Bain. He will work to coach, and guide you throughout your journey.

  • assessing how Medusa perform technically compared to competing offering

  • making strategic customer and competitor analysis

  • analyzing and testing go-to-market strategies for target segments

  • executing growth hacking initiatives to generate users

  • accumulating developer feedback on the solution

  • developing investor-related material

  • assisting with SEO and marketing activities

# Why we would be interested in you?

Ideally, you are enrolled in a higher education on either Bachelor or Master level with experience working on the intersection between tech and business. Furthermore, we expect that you:

  • strong at working structured and independently

  • are good at taking initiative and thinking creatively when needed

  • like to drive impact and take ownership of your work

  • are fluent in verbal and written English communication

  • experience within software development / computer science is a big plus

  • experience with Excel and Google Sheets is a plus

# Why you should be interested in us?

  • We just raised $8m, the largest tech seed round in DK from some of the leading VC funds in Europe and a strong group of leading tech angels globally

  • We are evolving within the hyper-growth market of digital commerce, and are experiencing great traction at the moment thanks to a solid community base.

  • You will get the ability to take ownership and be responsible for your own projects to further your professional competencies.

  • We are a remote first company meaning that you have the opportunity to work from home or at our office in Copenhagen with high flexibility.

  • We provide full accommodation (e.g., lunch, snacks and drinks) at the Copenhagen-based office located in København K and also welcome you to study here as needed.

  • We are an international social bunch always up for chatting or sharing good stories at our (virtual) Friday bars (🥳), company retreats or similar.

  • Finally, we pride ourselves on being an open and supportive company where you can always expect someone to "jump-in" whenever you need help.

We could tell you a lot of great things about our product, but we will save some of the fun for the interview. Check out medusajs.com if you want a sneak peek.

You will be working approximately 15-20 hours per week with flexibility around your studies. The salary will be 175 DKK / hour.
