Machine Learning Engineer – Deploy and Scale World-Class AI Systems (EU Based)

The Opportunity

Morningside AI is looking for an experienced ML Engineer to help us design, build, and scale robust AI systems. You’ll play a critical role in developing backend AI pipelines, optimizing deployments, and helping businesses operationalize cutting-edge machine learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, test, and deploy machine learning pipelines (classification, NLP, GenAI, custom ML workflows).

- Manage backend infrastructure for scalable AI deployment (AWS, serverless, containerized environments).

- Collaborate with AI developers, product leads, and clients to translate business needs into technical solutions.

- Monitor and maintain production AI models, ensuring uptime, performance, and accuracy.

- Research and implement best practices in AI model optimization and system scalability.

Essential Experience

- Strong hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models in production.

- Deep experience with Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

- Proficient with AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, SageMaker, etc.).

- Practical experience with serverless frameworks and containerization (Docker, Zappa).

- Understanding of MLOps best practices for model versioning, deployment, and monitoring.

Desirable Skills

- Experience working with RAG systems, embedding models, or hybrid AI architectures.

- Familiarity with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.

- Experience with LLM fine-tuning or adaptation workflows.

- Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
