Hiring Manager

Brennan is an American-Canadian entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in international recruitment. Having lived in Washington, DC, New York City, Qatar, Dubai, Toronto, and now Panama City, Brennan brings a wealth of knowledge and a global perspective to the recruitment process. Prior to founding North Star Talent Ventures, he was an integral part of the talent team at a tier-1 Venture Capital firm in San Francisco, where he honed his skills in identifying and attracting top-tier candidates.

About the Role

As a Recruiting Sourcer at North Star Talent Ventures, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging top talent for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and our Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), specifically Loxo and Ashby, to source and identify high-quality candidates.

• Leveraging tools such as Slack, Gmail, Google Meet, Google Docs, and Google Sheets to streamline communication and collaboration within the team.

• Conducting thorough market research to understand candidate availability and industry trends.

• Building and maintaining a robust pipeline of entrepreneurial talent for various technology roles.

• Collaborating closely with your manager and the recruitment team to align sourcing strategies with client needs.

• Tracking and updating candidate information in our ATS to ensure efficiency and organization throughout the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a sourcer or in a similar recruitment role, preferably within the technology sector in the US.

• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS platforms like Loxo and Ashby.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with candidates through various platforms.

• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.

• A passion for connecting talented individuals with exciting opportunities in fast-growing startups.
