Your mission

Odds Scanner is looking for a Copywriter to join our full-time team in Malta.

As a Copywriter you will craft clear, compelling copy for social media, with a strong emphasis on ads and paid campaigns designed to drive conversions. This role involves interpreting copywriting briefs to align with project goals, conducting thorough research to ensure alignment with market best practices, and creating content that resonates with the target audience. A focus on performance metrics is integral to the copywriting process, ensuring that each piece is optimized for measurable success.

Responsibilities

Write clear, attractive copy for social media, focused on ads and paid campaigns, always focused on conversions
Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
Conduct high-quality research to make sure the copy’s will be connected with the project and the market best practices
Consider metrics and perfomance on the copy’s creation process
Edit and proofread copy as needed
Research and understand a project needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject-matter experts, and in-person meetings
Collaborate with a team of paid media, social media and creative staff (designers and video editors), from concept development to delivery of final product
Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team
Revise copy based on internal feedback

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional copywriting experience for social media ads, with a solid portfolio of work
Exceptional skill in social media writing, preferably for ads and paid campaigns
Fluency in English and Portuguese
Ability to work independently and in a squad structure to meet deadlines
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, marketing, communications, or related discipline
Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
Experience with content management systems
Proficiency with content creation and management tools such as Photoshop, Figma, Canva, Premier, ClickUp, Trello tools
Desired experience with iGaming and Sports Betting
