Sambafoot Writer - French

YOUR MISSION

Odds Scanner is looking for a Writer - French native speaker to join our Sambafoot International team.

We are a media and technology startup based in Malta active in several European and Latin American markets in the sports and gambling industries. We have a diverse and international team, working primarily from Malta, Portugal and Brazil, but with team members from all over the world.

Sambafoot is a website with over 20 years of history and produces content that uses football and football events to explain concepts related to Brazilianness.

Sambafoot is looking for writers to produce content in English, French and Spanish for a website focused on Brazilian football.

The writer will be responsible for researching, suggesting, writing and publishing hard news articles, with an average of 300 to 600 words per text and priority to urgent matters. The idea is that the writer can produce texts about football and Brazilian culture. 

RESPONSABILITIES

• Producing text-based content for the sports industry.

• Transform content ideas and agenda suggestions into written text.

• Meet the demand agreed with the editing team.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of experience in content production.

• Bachelor's degree in communication/journalism (nice to have)

• Experience in sports media outlets.

• Someone who can work independently but willing to learn!

• Organisation, creativity, conciseness and ability to generate good headlines will make you a great fit for this position!

• Good football knowledge.

• Fluency in English.

• Fluency in French (C2/ mother language).
