SEO Editor (US/Sports/Betting)

YOUR MISSION

Odds Scanner is looking for an SEO Editor to join our remote full-time team.

Odds Scanner is a media and technology startup based in Malta active in several European and Latin American markets in the sports and gambling industries. We have a 100% diverse, and international team, working primarily from Malta and Lisbon, but with team members from Portugal, Brazil, Philippines, France and more.

As an SEO Editor, you will be improving our existing content and further optimize it from a readability and usability point of view to increase conversions, time on page, and organic rankings.

In this role, you will be doing a lot of experiments, testing different strategies and executions. Not all will be successful, but we are looking for someone who is willing to learn, comfortable with the unknown and an ability to execute on our short, medium and long-term goals.

Our SEO department has grown considerably over the past few months, and we are in need of someone who has in-depth practical experience in content optimization for SEO.

We are looking for someone who is versatile, agile, can adapt quickly, and is looking to grow with the company.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Editing existing content on all of our websites and partnerships.

• Adding relevant internal and external links to improve crawlability and user experience.

• Preparing design and technical briefings for images, infographics and widgets that need to be added to our existing content.

• Prepare content templates for different websites and projects.

• Coordinate between the content and SEO teams to deliver optimal results for our websites.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a similar SEO role, ideally in the iGaming or sports marketing industry.

• Proven experience in executing different SEO content strategies.

• Understanding of silos, cannibalization, topical authority and identity SEO strategies.

• Someone who thrives in competitive and fast-paced environments.

• Someone who is native or with full-professional fluency in English.

• Someone who can work independently but willing to learn!
