Director, Total Rewards

Olo is looking for an experienced Director of Total Rewards with a focus on Compensation to join our People + Culture team. As the Director of Total Rewards, you will partner with senior leadership to define, develop, communicate, and execute Olo’s Total Rewards philosophy, vision, and strategy. You will oversee a team of two and report to the VP, Rewards and DEI Strategy.

You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or at Olo's headquarters in NYC.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the Compensation function and oversee compensation project management and administration including Board Compensation Committee deliverables, proxy files, and partnership with our Executive Comp Consulting Firm

  • Manage the Director of Compensation and collaborate on the daily operations including role pricing, mid year and end of year compensation review, and partnership with Talent Acquisition and People + Culture Business Partners

  • Partner with the Finance and Legal teams to draft proxy statements for the annual shareholder meeting (with focus on the executive and director compensation sections, CEO pay ratio, pay versus performance, and use of collaboration tools)

  • Provide guidance and support within the People + Culture team and cross-functionally on Total Rewards topics and add value through the development of creative solutions to challenging problems

  • Regularly benchmark company programs and monitor external trends in order to proactively adjust programs to ensure market competitiveness

  • Build deep cross functional relationships and partner with team members to understand and assess existing Total Reward needs, as well as identify gaps and inefficiencies

  • Make strategic recommendations for compensation and benefit plan designs and manage financial performance of these plans

  • Partner with Benefits and Wellness and Equity Administration teams on new initiatives as needed

What We'll Expect From You

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in the Total Rewards space, including experience at a public company, with a deep understanding of the Compensation landscape

  • Experience managing a high-performing team

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, problem solve, and successfully collaborate and communicate with internal and external teams at various levels.

  • Proven experience leading complex projects and successfully implementing change and transformation (direct or in consulting firms)

  • Demonstrated experience working across matrixed organizations that require high levels of influence, relationship-building and agility to secure the necessary support for Total Rewards initiatives

  • Proven experience developing and continually advancing base, variable pay structure and administrative guidelines based on business needs and long-range objectives

  • Experience with equity programs - Stock Options, RSUs, PSUs and, ESPP

  • Legally able to work in the U.S
