Creative Designer

About the role

Podaris is a collaborative planning platform used by transport authorities, urban planners, and engineering consultancies to plan better places. They use Podaris for everything from bus network redesigns, to the planning of new innovative multi-billion pound infrastructure schemes.

Our small team makes for an inclusive, interdisciplinary, and intellectually stimulating environment. We value diversity and welcome candidates from non-traditional backgrounds. We're looking for a Creative Designer to own the visual identity of Podaris across marketing, product, and brand. You'll be a generalist with strong instincts who can work across a range of briefs and deliver work that looks considered and credible.

What you'll work on: 

• Designing and iterating on our marketing website

• Creating sales collateral, decks, and one-pagers

• Producing case studies and customer-facing content

• Supporting the product team with UI design

• Shaping and maintaining our visual brand as we scale

What we're looking for

• A strong portfolio across brand, marketing, and digital design

• Comfortable owning creative direction, not just executing briefs

• Good visual and copy instincts, with a feel for when something isn't landing

• Experience working in Figma and familiarity with web tools like Webflow or Framer

• Collaborative and comfortable working with non-designers

Nice to have

• Background in B2B SaaS or technical products

• Motion or animation skills

• Startup experience

• Interest or experience in the transport or urban planning field

• Interest or experience in maps, cartography, or GIS
