Product Design Lead, PMcardio

At Powerful Medical, we build AI-powered technology that helps healthcare professionals diagnose cardiovascular diseases from ECGs. More than 100,000 clinicians use our technology, over 2.5 million ECGs have been analyzed, and we're backed by leading European and US VCs.

We're looking for a Product Design Lead to own the design of PMcardio across our mobile and web products.

You'll work across PMcardio for Individuals and PMcardio for Organizations — two closely connected products used by healthcare professionals to analyze ECGs and support clinical decision-making.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn complex clinical workflows, AI outputs and medical data into clear, intuitive experiences — and work closely with engineers to take them all the way to production.

Your Role

• Own product design across the PMcardio ecosystem
• Lead design projects end-to-end, from problem definition and research to prototypes, final design and shipped product
• Turn complex clinical workflows, ECG data, AI outputs, measurements, graphs and diagnostic information into clear and actionable experiences
• Design across iOS, Android and web while creating consistent patterns across products and platforms
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical and customer-facing teams to shape product direction
• Work directly with clinicians and customers, test ideas, and use product data and feedback to improve what we build
• Own and evolve our design system and maintain a high bar for interaction design, visual quality and accessibility
• Prototype quickly using Figma, AI tools, code or whatever helps us reach the right solution fastest
• Stay close to implementation, review what gets built and work directly with engineers to polish the final product
• Help shape AI-native ways of working across research, design, prototyping and development

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products, with a strong portfolio of real-world work
• Excellent product thinking, interaction design and visual design skills
• Strong ability to simplify complex, data-heavy products without losing important information
• Comfortable designing both mobile applications and complex web products
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
• Technically curious and comfortable collaborating closely with engineers
• You actively use AI in your day-to-day work for research, exploration, prototyping and building, and are comfortable working with coding agents
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain design decisions clearly
• Bonus: Experience with healthcare, medical devices, clinical software, scientific products or other complex technical products is a strong plus
• Bonus: Experience with front-end development, prototyping in code, or contributing directly to production UI is also a plus
