
HR & Experience Coordinator
Mission of the Role
The HR & Experience Coordinator will play a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining the ProfitCoach culture by sourcing and orienting new hires for all departments, carrying out team experience and cultivation initiatives, supporting managers with employee development resources, and equipping the company with clear and culturally-aligned policy and compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented, strategic thinker, capable of overseeing the entire hiring process from job posting to onboarding; staying informed and informing the company of compliance needs across multiple states and countries; managing multiple team initiatives at the same time; engaging in proactive thinking of how to cultivate and maintain employee experience and development; and propagating the mission of ProfitCoach culture in day-to-day activities.

Streamlined Hiring Process: Utilize the existing hiring processes as outlined, and look for opportunities to improve efficiency in a scalable system that effectively attracts, screens, and selects top talent aligned with ProfitCoach’s values and technical needs.
Successful Onboarding: Ensure all new hires have a smooth and comprehensive onboarding experience, fully integrating into ProfitCoach’s systems and culture within their first week, ready to launch into role-specific training.
Policy & Compliance Contributions: Begin contributing to the research and updating of company policies, Employee Handbook, and HR compliance measures, ensuring all practices are current and legally sound.
Employee Experience Coordination (“Culture Captain”): Support the upcoming mid-year company retreat and launch two initiatives to advance day-to-day employee connection and engagement.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Job Posting Coordination: Collaborate with department heads to detail and post job openings, ensuring accurate and appealing job descriptions.
Sourcing Strategy: Consult with the Chief of Staff on strategies and platforms for sourcing high-quality applicants.
Application Review: Thoroughly review applications and video introductions, assessing qualifications and cultural fit.
Screening Calls: Conduct initial screening calls, taking detailed notes and making recommendations on whether to proceed with candidates.
Workflow Management: Oversee the hiring process from start to finish using hiring platforms, LeadSimple (workflow automation software), and additional data tracking in external spreadsheets.
Onboarding Coordination: Coordinate onboarding activities, ensuring new hires have access to necessary equipment, software, and communication of expectations, and are scheduled for orientation and training with their department.
Communication Management: Facilitate communication between new hires, the payroll team, and department heads to ensure a smooth start.
Orientation Calls: Conduct orientation calls, welcoming new hires and providing an overview of ProfitCoach’s culture and expectations.
Compensation & Benefits: Oversee benefits enrollment, compliance with compensation policies and possibly payroll administration. Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend adjustments to remain competitive within the industry and collaborate with finance to manage HR budgets effectively.
Performance Management: Design and/or improve performance evaluation processes and systems to include 1:1s and annual performance reviews. Partner with department heads to set performance goals and provide guidance on coaching and development.
HR Policy Support: Assist with researching and updating company policies and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Team Experience Coordination (“Culture Captain”): Oversee team experience to include event coordination (e.g. annual company retreat) as well as initiatives that develop thriving day-to-day team engagement, connection, and on-brand culture.
