Overview of the Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps/Sysadmin to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure, utilizing cutting-edge tools and technologies. You will have the autonomy to develop and implement your ideas, ensuring our systems are robust, efficient, and scalable. 

Responsibilities & Functions: 

• Learn and understand our current setup, including the use of HashiCorp products (Nomad, Consul, Vault)

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for existing microservice applications

• Manage and improve high availability requirements by orchestrating applications across multiple data centers

• Own and maintain core services utilized by multiple engineering teams. Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve our infrastructure

• Oversee error log files for all applications we run, identifying and resolving issues proactively

• Collaborate with the CEO/Founder, and Dev Team, and report to the Operations Manager

Requirements: 

• Willing to learn new software that is used by the company (you will receive mentorship/collaboration in helping you learn if this software is new to you) 

• Experience in DevOps  

• Experience in using Linux Sysadmin  

• Experience in creating Pipelines 

• Experience with Baremetal servers & Ansible Playbooks
