The Opportunity:

Puffy is one of America's fastest-growing e-commerce retailers and a Top 5 Mattress Brand in the USA with over $1 Billion USD in sales. Since entering the bed-in-a-box market in 2016, we have experienced consistent year-on-year growth, driven by a mission to make optimal sleep health a priority for all. We are now expanding our retail footprint and seeking experienced sales professionals to develop untapped markets across the Midwest, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions.

Who You'll Work With:

You'll own your territory end-to-end and partner with:

  • Director of Retail — Your main point of contact for account priorities, growth strategy, and territory alignment

  • Retail General Manager — aligns on growth objectives and territory strategy

  • Fellow Independent Sales Representatives — Reps covering territories across the US, sharing best practices and market insights

  • Internal Support Teams — Marketing, operations, and product teams to support your retail accounts with materials, pricing tools, and fulfillment

What You'll Own:

  • Prospect and develop retail bedding business for Puffy across target regions

  • Establish new retail accounts for Puffy mattress products and accessories

  • Generate new retail accounts through prospecting methods of your choosing, including in-person and remote engagement

  • Collaborate with Puffy's Retail General Manager to align on account priorities and growth objectives

  • Provide account support including pricing, assortment direction, sales training, shipping, and warranty resolution

  • Opportunity to attend key industry trade shows when relevant

Requirements

  • Proven experience selling to mattress retailers with established relationships across smaller and larger bedding retailers

  • Strong drive to exceed targets

  • Demonstrated consultative selling capabilities

  • Competency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing relationships with retailers in the Midwest, Northeast, or Mid-Atlantic regions

  • Experience representing complementary product lines (accessories, adjustable bases)

  • Established territory coverage and travel infrastructure
