Job Summary - Performance Manager, Paid Search
The Performance Manager, Paid Search will manage, analyze, and update automotive-related search marketing campaigns utilizing Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and PureCars’ proprietary technology to drive revenue for our Automotive clients around the US and Canada. You will get to partner with both client-facing Digital Strategy Managers and our clients to ensure strategic ad optimization initiatives are met while providing insights into improvements that can be made with their campaigns.
Performance Manager, Paid Search - What You’ll Do:
Create and manage paid search campaigns based on automotive dealership and marketing agency goals and continually identify opportunities to make measurable optimizations towards dealer goals
Monitor and optimize for KPIs including but not limited to impression share, CTR, CPA, CPC, and overall campaign spend
Monitor the marketplace, competitive landscape, industry trends, and third-party data sources to constantly identify and implement new marketing opportunities
Analyze paid search performance and pacing reports to provide impactful optimization insights and strategies with account facing teams to share with your shared clients
Act as a thought leader and paid search subject matter expert
Help create and maintain Paid Search team best practices and documentation
The Skills and Experience You Bring:
1+ years experience in paid search campaign management
Google Ads certified
Experience with CRM software, search trend and volume tools, and ad management softwares such as Kenshoo, Marin, Acquisio or similar is a plus. Competency in any one is not necessary as we have our own proprietary software.
Skilled in analyzing search performance data, analytics tools, and internal data to present performance findings to internal teams
Detail oriented with the ability to manipulate large, multi-faceted data sets in Excel or Google Sheets. Pivot tables and V-look-ups are a major plus.
Ability to manage a large book of clients while diligently prioritizing in the best interest of our clients.
