QuinStreet is currently in search of a Senior Web Designer possessing a robust background in UX/UI design and mobile interface development. Ideally, candidates should demonstrate familiarity with financial or loan marketing practices. The successful candidate will be tasked with the creation, direction, and refinement of digital experiences across our web and mobile platforms.

Our ideal candidate is creative, innovative, and passionately driven to solve challenges with our internal clients and consumers. This person should be able to deliver award-winning product/visual designs that are effective, easy to use, and emotionally engaging for consumers. A Senior Designer at QS must have extensive expertise in the following areas: user flows, mental and interaction models, information architecture, emotional design methods, and establishing measurable creative objectives.

If hired, you will join our Creative team--a highly collaborative, creative, and technically savvy group of individuals who love to learn, inspire, and advocate for what’s right.

Responsibilities

  • Take ideas/concepts and visualize them in a manner that is engaging and compelling for internal leaders, partners, and customers

  • Support and develop wireframe/interface design of our various online shopping products, building design system and components library, while working with our internal development team with UX/UI experience/expertise

  • Create the visual language strategy (brand applications, visual design specs, information design, color system, typographic rules, grid systems, and other visual assets) for medium-sized, diverse projects that support the brand strategy and user goals

  • Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that synthesize user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web & mobile platforms

  • Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite the complexity of the system

  • Collaborate effectively with researchers, product managers, developers, marketers, and other team members and groups

  • Manage timelines, deadlines, and communication through project management tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Web Design, Visual Communication, UI/UX or related field of study

  • Expertise with web design tools such as Adobe XD & Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator

  • Strong skills in building design and component library systems, as well as creating ‘lo-fi’ prototypes to share with clients in a fast, iterative manner

  • Working knowledge of HTML, understanding how comps translate to code, and the ability to use prototyping tools to convey design intent

  • Organized, self-motivated, excellent communicator with an open mind and the ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams, while achieving great designs under short deadlines.

  • Must be a great problem solver, with the ability to identify and resolve the problem independently while working under business goals and consumer needs, including providing clear and concise explanations to other colleagues or clients.

  • Genuinely curious about researching and designing with new technology, with experience in user-test and user research is a PLUS

  • Able to work independently and also enjoy whiteboards and group brainstorming!

  • MUST have a fearless and positive attitude! A great team player.

  • A strong enthusiasm for compelling marketing copywriting or relevant industry experience would be advantageous.

The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 USD to $130,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.

Flexibility for occasional travel to different offices or events is essential to fulfill the duties of this role. This may include attending meetings, conferences, or training sessions, as well as collaborating with team members or partners in various locations. While travel requirements may vary, candidates should be prepared to engage in occasional travel as needed to support business objectives and foster professional relationships.
