What is RedBrick AI?

RedBrick AI is a SaaS platform for building medical imaging AI. We help radiology AI teams create high-quality annotated datasets to train and validate machine-learning systems.

We launched in 2021 and work with leading healthcare AI teams including Mass General Brigham, Qure AI, and Hyperfine. We raised $4.6M from Y Combinator and Sequoia Capital.

Our customers are engineering leaders and research teams solving complex, high-stakes problems. Our sales process is consultative and trust-driven β€” not transactional.

The Role

This is not a spray-and-pray email role.

You'll be our first dedicated SDR, working closely with the founder and AE to build a top-of-funnel from scratch. The work is manual, deliberate, and account-specific. You'll do deep research on each prospect, understand their technical context, and reach out in a way that shows you actually get what they're working on.

The model that works here looks like this: find the right person at the right org, understand what they care about, write something worth reading, and build a real conversation. LinkedIn is your primary tool. Volume is not your metric β€” qualified conversations are.

What You'll Do

  • Build and refine target account lists within defined ICP segments

  • Research prospects deeply β€” their org, their work, their technical workflow

  • Write highly personalized outreach across LinkedIn, email, and (occasionally) phone

  • Set qualified meetings with engineering leaders, researchers, and technical decision-makers

  • Track what's working, iterate on messaging, and improve over time

  • Help build the outbound playbook: sequences, qualification criteria, handoff process

  • Attend occasional industry events to support pipeline generation

Who You Are

  • 1+ year in B2B SaaS outbound (SDR, BDR, or similar)

  • You do manual, curated outreach β€” not templated blasts. You know the difference and prefer the former

  • Strong LinkedIn prospector: you're good at finding the right person, crafting the right hook, and building a thread of outreach that earns a response

  • Exceptional written communication β€” your messages stand out because they're specific and human

  • Self-directed: you're comfortable building the process as you go, not waiting for a perfect playbook

  • High standards for your own work β€” you'd rather send ten great messages than a hundred generic ones

  • Comfortable cold calling to connect with new customers 

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling into technical or research audiences (engineering, AI/ML, healthcare)

  • Familiarity with longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

  • Background in healthtech, medical imaging, or enterprise SaaS

You'll be building the outbound function, not filling a seat in it. Your work shapes how we define our ICP, how we message to technical buyers, and how we scale pipeline as we grow. You'll have real ownership and direct access to leadership from day one.
