Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Hi there, we’re Remote First Recruiting, a remote-focused recruiting agency. We’ve been around since 2020 and we are set for explosive growth in 2024. We work closely with bootstrapped founders, early-stage startups, and business leaders to provide recruiting services for their growing teams.

We’re a small but mighty team spread across 4 continents and are looking for a highly motivated SDR to join us as we help remote companies hire. We usually get together a few times a year. Most recently the team got together for a week in Mexico! Our team is passionate about recruiting and we love our clients! We’re looking for someone who has the same passion as us and for the right candidate there is a ton of growth.

📣 About You

You're growth-oriented, hard-working, and looking for a breakout role with a dynamic and growing company. An excellent communicator and ambitious sales professional. You’ve ideally worked on smaller teams with less than 30 employees and have been an SDR for a recruiting agency, job board, or SaaS product in the hiring space. 

📌 About the Role

As an SDR on our team, you will be instrumental in generating leads and creating opportunities to introduce our services to new prospects. You will build a pipeline of qualified leads, actively engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and showcase how our solutions can help solve their unique hiring challenges. 

You’ll be expected to generate new business opportunities through cold calling, emailing, and effective networking. You’ll do cold outreach and arrange qualified sales calls for our Head of Recruitment. We’re a results-focused company and a firm believer that the daily work you put in will help you be successful. You won’t be micromanaged in this role and you’ll have the opportunity to manage your own desk to produce results. 

🔥 Daily Goals & Key Performance Indicators

  • Making 50+ cold calls a day (minimum of 10 conversations per day)

  • Sending 50+ personalized emails a day

  • Booking 15 qualified meetings a month

  2. Incredible self-confidence (you have zero doubt you’ll hit quota)

  3. Impeccable time management (you can already see yourself doing more activities in a day)

👀 What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of cold calling and cold emailing experience

  • Experience with Apollo or other prospecting tools

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • Experience communicating via Slack, email, and Google Meet

  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively generate leads and drive sales
