About the Role

We are seeking a talented contract Graphic Designer to join the SaaS Academy Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for creative design, and a strong ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with efficiency. Experience with creating thumbnails, landing pages, and print work is a must. Our new team member will be able to meet deadlines, work independently, prioritize urgent tasks, drive projects forward, and bring their designs to life in a way that aligns with our established brand.

Here are the three primary components of the Graphic Designer role:

  • YouTube Content Thumbnail Creation: As our Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of the SaaS Academy and YouTube Channels. One key responsibility will involve creating engaging thumbnails that encapsulate the essence of each video, enticing viewers to click. You will also be responsible for assessing performance, which may involve A/B testing for your thumbnails. Your exceptional design skills, attention to detail, and ability to create visually appealing graphics that align with our brand guidelines will be instrumental in driving engagement and growth for both channels.

  • HubSpot Landing Page Creation: In this role, you will be expected to design and create lead landing pages in HubSpot and track the pages’ performance via HubSpot reporting. Utilizing templates, you will be tasked with producing functional pages and effectively communicating the desired messaging. Your role will also encompass supporting ad campaigns, and ensuring that all graphics are consistent with the SaaS Academy branding and messaging.

  • Print Material Creation for On-Site Events: You will play an essential role in supporting our Marketing and Events teams in completing the print designs for all print collateral for our 2024 events. Your strong design abilities, focus on precision, and capacity to collaborate effectively with team members will be key in ensuring that the print materials accurately represent the brand and effectively communicate the desired messaging.

In addition to the three primary components for this role, this person will provide company-wide support for projects as needed.

Experience and Qualifications

Required:

  • 3-5 years experience

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience with HubSpot Content Management System, including HubSpot Developer Tools (HubDB and HubSpot Design Manager)

  • Social media design experience

  • Experience following established brand guidelines

  • Understanding of fundamental design concepts such as color theory, typography, and composition

  • Agile experience

  • Project and task management skills

  • Creative assets management

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines

  • Candid communication

Preferred:

  • SaaS Experience

  • Coding experience
