ABOUT THE ROLE

As a key player in our team, you will:

• Architect and implement robust databases and system architecture, to support scalable and efficient operations.

• Design and provision hardware architecture tailored to meet our evolving needs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Maintain a highly available Kubernetes cluster, including updates and modifications to cluster components.

• Install and manage low-level Kubernetes services that enhance networking, storage, and overall system functionality.

• Design and enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies across the Kubernetes cluster to ensure secure and efficient access management.

• Seamlessly deploy and ensure the reliability of end-user services within the Kubernetes environment, enhancing user experience and system functionality.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration and performance issues, ensuring system stability and reliability.

• Utilize your experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, Helm, and Helmfile to streamline deployment and management processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Good grasp of programming principles and experience with database management.

• 5 years of relevant experience

• Advanced expertise in Kubernetes, Ansible, Helm, and Helmfile, with proven experience in deploying and managing clusters and services.

• Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash and Python, with the ability to automate and streamline processes.

• Familiarity with a range of services (e.g., Postgres, MinIo, Kafka, Superset, Prefect, Spark, Jupyter Notebooks, Redis, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager) is a plus.

• Comfort with ambiguity and an eagerness to explore and adopt new technologies.

• Versatility to tackle tasks across the stack, whether they are high-level projects or routine maintenance.

• Ability to identify and execute on the balance between sophistication and simplicity in solution design to effectively address business challenges.

• Self-motivated, with a track record of driving complex tasks or projects to completion.

• Strong collaborative skills, with a proactive approach to resolving dependencies and overcoming obstacles.

• Fast learner with a passion for personal development

• Fluent in English and Romanian  

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology/IT
