To do this we have built the VarSome suite of bioinformatic tools, the world’s leading resource for analysis and interpretation of human genome variant data, with more than 6 000 citations in scientific papers, and over 60 000 registered professional users. Our customers work around the globe across academic, clinical, and industry laboratories analysing NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) data for research and diagnostic purposes.

Role Responsibilities

• Contribute to content marketing strategy and planning

• Create and maintain website content for our suite of bioinformatics products and corporate communications

• Write and maintain technical marketing content such as white papers, application notes, and case studies

• Contribute to the production of content for social media

• Contribute to the production of marketing collateral and sales enablement materials, such as flyers, slide decks, and brochures

• Support the production of technical content such as release notes and support documents through editing and proofreading

• Additional marketing support where necessary across events and digital content marketing including product campaigns, newsletters, and webinars

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Biology, Genetics, Life Sciences or related field

• 3+ years of experience in a content creation role, preferably within the Biotech and Healthcare sectors

• Strong understanding of clinical genomics and the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts

• Fluent English speaker with strong written skills, additional languages are a plus

• Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills

• Experienced technical writer in related field such as healthcare or life sciences

• Available for occasional business travel such as conference participation, quarterly team meetings, and company offsites

• As a person, you are curious and a fast learner. You pick up new skills through hands-on experience. You are comfortable with responsibility and are self-motivated to demonstrate your impact as part of a global team
