Position Details:

Position: Marketing Assistant

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Remote in Alberta, Canada

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7.5 hrs per day

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant who has the ambition to learn and grow into other roles within the company. As a Marketing Assistant at Saving Sidekick your role would entail, but is not limited to the following responsibilities...

  • Organic Posting: Creating social media posts to create a positive online brand image and additional opportunity for engagement. 

  • Campaign Support & Setup: Assist with setting up and launching paid media campaigns (mainly on Meta platforms). Help monitor performance and flag areas that may need improvements so the team can optimize results.

  • Creative Research & Writing: Research and brainstorm ideas and inspiration for ad content. Assist with drafting ad copy and supporting creative development. Learn how to align messaging with the right audience at the right stage of their journey.

  • Design Support: Assist with developing designs utilizing AI tools, Canva and Adobe Express. 

  • Engagement: Engaging in professional interactions with potential leads in response to email and paid social media advertising. Nurturing each individual towards a conversion by responding to inbound comments and messages.

  • Reporting: Updating reports as needed.

  • Results Oriented: The goal of each interaction is to convert the prospect into a sellable lead for the business.

  • Performance Management: Closely monitor social media activity for performance, and compliance.

  • Industry Awareness & Innovation: Stay on top of industry trends and get creative with new ways to reach potential customers.

Requirements for this Role:

  • Strong desire and willingness to learn

  • Ability to follow processes and guidelines

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • A data driven approach to social media 

  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and management platforms
