About the Role

We're looking for a commercially minded Head of Finance to build and own the financial operating system across three fast-growing businesses:

• Scalers – Marketing and growth company

• Affiliate Takeover (ATO) – Global events and media brand

• Circle – New membership and mastermind business

This is not a traditional bookkeeping role.

We're looking for someone who can create clarity from complexity, build systems that scale, and give leadership instant visibility into the financial health of the business.

Initially, you'll spend time building processes and infrastructure. Over time, the goal is to leverage automation, AI, and efficient systems so the finance function becomes increasingly streamlined and proactive.

Expected workload:

• Initial: 20–30 hours per week

• Long-term target: 10–20 hours per week through automation and process optimisation

Your Mission

Within your first 60 days, build a finance function that gives leadership reliable, real-time visibility across all entities.

Leadership should be able to instantly access:

• Cash position by entity

• Total consolidated cash

• Receivables

• Payables

• Project profitability

• 13-week cash forecast

• Runway

• Key financial risks

• Required financial decisions

What You'll Own

Weekly Reporting

• Cash position by entity

• Consolidated cash position

• Accounts receivable report

• Accounts payable report

• 13-week rolling cash forecast

• Runway analysis

• Financial risk report

• Weekly finance summary for leadership

Monthly Reporting

• Project-level P&L reporting

• Consolidated P&L reporting

• Cash flow reporting

• Expense reconciliation

• Cost allocation across entities

• Management reporting package

Forecasting & Strategic Finance

You'll own:

• Best-case, base-case and worst-case forecasts

• Cash planning and liquidity management

• Capital allocation recommendations

• Financial modelling for growth initiatives

• Scenario planning and risk analysis

Financial Controls

You'll ensure:

• All expenses are accurately categorised

• All transactions are reconciled

• Financial records remain clean and audit-ready

• Reporting is reliable and accurate

• Financial processes improve continuously as the business grows

International Finance & Tax

Our businesses operate across multiple countries, currencies and legal entities. We're looking for someone who understands the complexities that come with international operations and can help leadership make informed decisions.

You should have experience with:

• Managing finances across multiple countries and entities

• Understanding the tax implications of cross-border transactions

• Working with international contractors, suppliers and customers

• Multi-currency cash management and forecasting

• VAT, sales tax and indirect tax considerations across different jurisdictions

• Collaborating with local accountants and tax advisors where required

• Identifying tax risks and opportunities as the businesses scale

You don't need to be a tax specialist in every jurisdiction, but you should know the right questions to ask, recognise potential risks early, and ensure the businesses remain financially and operationally efficient internationally.

AI & Automation

We're building a modern finance function.

You must actively use AI and automation tools to:

• Reduce manual work

• Improve reporting speed

• Increase forecasting accuracy

• Build efficient workflows

• Minimise hours required while maximising output

We're looking for someone excited by technology and eager to rethink how finance is run.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

You have experience owning finance for one or more of the following:

• Marketing agencies

• Media businesses

• Information businesses

• Events companies

• SaaS businesses

• E-commerce companies

You also have:

• Experience managing finances across multiple entities, countries and currencies

• Strong understanding of international tax considerations and cross-border transactions

• Strong cash flow management skills

• Strong reporting and forecasting capabilities

• Experience with multi-currency reporting and cash management

• Excellent English communication skills

• Experience working directly with founders and operators

• A systems and process mindset

• Comfort using AI and automation tools
