💼 ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Software Engineer at Screenloop, you'll play a pivotal role in developing robust, scalable, and user-centric software solutions. Working remotely within +/- 2hrs GMT, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver daily value to our customers and drive the technology strategy across the whole platform.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in full-stack development, utilizing ReactJS with TypeScript for the frontend and Ruby on Rails for the backend. Your flexibility and adaptability will be key as you contribute to a small, agile team, making a significant impact on our technology roadmap.

This position is ideal for a proactive engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality software that transforms the hiring process for companies worldwide.

🔥 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Full-Stack Development: Design, plan, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Software.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, designers, QA, and other engineers to define and implement innovative solutions.
Drive Technology Strategy: Contribute to the strategic direction of our technology stack and architecture, ensuring scalability and performance.
Quality Assurance: Implement best code quality, testing, and deployment practices to ensure robust and reliable software.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
Open and Proactive Mindset: Suggest improvements to already implemented features or mockups you will be implementing.
Extreme Ownership: Sense of ownership regardless of the stage you are involved (planning, reviewing, developing and testing)

😊 IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE

Proven Experience: Extensive experience as a full-stack Software Engineer with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of software development principles, data modelling, data structures, and software architecture.
Startup Mindset: Experience working in fast-paced environments, ideally within B2B SaaS companies or startups.
Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions and establishing trade-offs when needed.
Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and new challenges in a dynamic work environment.
