What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will extend far beyond simply “testing our app.” We’re looking for someone who will relentlessly push our product to its breaking point through rigorous manual testing. Additionally, you’ll assist in the development of automated testing environments that not only identify existing bugs but also possess the capability to predict and prevent future issues. Your behind-the-scenes efforts will be instrumental in ensuring that our product consistently delivers a flawless user experience.

Beyond testing, you’ll take the time to deeply understand our business, its workflows, and the bigger picture. By learning how everything operates inside and out, you’ll help ensure that we continuously deliver high-quality software that meets all requirements and aligns with our business goals.

Here’s How You’ll Leave Your Mark:

Test with Purpose: Push our developers to think ahead by subjecting code to rigorous, real-world test scenarios that uncover hidden flaws
Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to define test strategies, ensuring quality is embedded from the start.
Seamless Integration: Embed automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline to enable rapid, high-quality releases.
Prevent, Not Just Detect: Go beyond bug hunting—anticipate issues before they arise, using root cause analysis as your secret weapon.
Optimize & Innovate: Continuously refine testing processes, introducing automation and efficiencies to enhance speed and accuracy.
Safeguard Stability: Conduct regression testing and validate fixes to ensure past functionality remains intact.
Track & Resolve: Identify, document, and manage defects effectively using a tracking system.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

Experience & Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on test automation for both front-end and back-end systems.
Tool Mastery: Proficiency with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Jest, and other common testing frameworks.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze test results, report insights, and recommend improvements.
Process Awareness: Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and how QA seamlessly fits into the SDLC.
Communication Skills: Fluent in both technical and non-technical conversations, bridging gaps across teams.
Organization & Efficiency: Strong prioritization skills to keep projects on track in fast-moving environments.
Entrepreneurial Drive: Self-motivated, innovative, and action-oriented in high-velocity settings.
Passion for Building: You thrive on innovation and enjoy creating new solutions.
Autonomous & Adaptable: Comfortable working in an async, high-speed workflow.
Time Zone Compatibility: Availability for a 9 AM CT standup with at least 5 hours of overlap in CST.

API Testing Skills: Proficiency with tools like Postman or REST Assured—you enjoy pushing APIs to their limits.
